The Erskine College Flying Fleet Summer Baseball Hitting Camp is open to all hitters who 13 to 18 years old. This baseball camp will fall on the 25th of June. It is set to start at 1 o’clock in the afternoon and end at 5 o’clock in the afternoon. The training program includes a lecture about hitting, film review, and a batting practice. Furthermore, this event is only going to accommodate ten participants, thus, registration is on a first come first served basis. The venue of this baseball camp is the scenic Erskine College campus which is in Due West, South Carolina. In addition, this program is an initiative of the Flying Fleet college baseball coaching staff. The camp registration fee is $60.
Erskine College is a private, coeducational, Christian college in South Carolina. It is in the academic village of Due West. The Erskine College Flying Fleet baseball team head coach is Mark Crocco. Coach Mark Crocco is a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, with a minor in sport management graduate from Wingate University. He is in his first year at the helm of the Flying Fleet baseball program. Coach Crocco is the former associate head coach and recruiting coordinator of Presbyterian College. He is also the former Charlotte Area Anglers Showcase Baseball Team head coach. Additionally, Coach Crocco is the 2017 D1Baseball.com Big South Conference top recruiter. Meanwhile, as a college baseball player, Coach Mark Crocco was part of Wingate’s 2010 South Atlantic Conference Championship team. Then, the Erskine College Flying Fleet assistant baseball coach is Taylor Sandefur, a native of Mechanicsville, Virginia. Coach Taylor Sandefur is also new to the Flying Fleet baseball coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in communication graduate from Western Carolina University. He is also the recipient of the 2014 Gregg Olson Breakout Player of the Year Award. At the same time, Coach Sandefur is the Flying Fleet recruiting coordinator. And finally, the Erskine College Flying Fleet volunteer assistant coaches are Doc Neiman and Jack Metcalf. Coach Doc Neiman is also the team’s head JV coach and camp coordinator.
