Eastern Kentucky University Colonels Baseball Prospect Camp

The Eastern Kentucky University Colonels Baseball Prospect Camp is inviting all grade 9 to 12 and Junior College boys who desire to take their game to the collegiate level. This event will provide a venue for outstanding players to showcase their skills in front of the university’s recruiting staff. The program is going to take place at the top-notch Turkey Hughes Field at Earle Combs Stadium which is on the Eastern Kentucky University campus. Furthermore, the program will run from the 11th of August until the 12th of August. The players are advised to bring their own baseball bat, hat, gloves, helmet, cleats, and sneakers.
 
Eastern Kentucky University is a public, coeducational institution in Richmond, Kentucky. It is a comprehensive university with a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) accreditation. Eastern Kentucky University is also a top-performing academic institution. As a matter of fact, it is 73rd in the Regional Universities South category of the 2018 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings. The university is also 27th in the Top Public Schools rankings. Eastern Kentucky University Colonels Baseball Prospect Camp Organizers

The head coach of the Eastern Kentucky University Colonels baseball team is Edwin Thompson who hails from Jay, Maine. Coach Edwin Thompson is now in his third year at the reins of the Colonels baseball program. He is a bachelor’s of science degree in general business graduate from Webber University. Additionally, Coach Edwin Thompson is the former Georgia State University Panthers pitching coach. He was part of the Panthers 2015 Sun Belt Conference Tournament team. His other coaching stints are with Duke University and the University of Maine. Then, the Eastern Kentucky Colonels assistant baseball coaches are Tyler Hanson and Adam Revelette. Coach Tyler Hanson, a native of Sanford, Maine, is with the coaching staff since August of 2015. At the same time, Coach Tyler Hanson is the team’s recruiting coordinator and hitting coach. He is a bachelor’s degree in business economics graduate from the University of Maine Farmington. Ultimately, Coach Hanson is the recipient of the 2007 Golden Glove Award. Coach Adam Revelette is now in his third season with the coaching staff. He is working primarily with pitchers. Coach Adam Revelette, a Lexington, Kentucky native, is a bachelor’s degree in communications graduate from the University of Kentucky. He is also a master’s of business administration in applied management graduate from Indiana Wesleyan. Finally, Julius McDougal is Colonels volunteer assistant coach.
