Come and join the Presbyterian College Blue Hose Select Baseball Camp. It is a two-day event that will run on the 25th and 26th of August. This baseball program is especially for those who are seeking an opportunity to play college baseball. All male baseball players in grade 9 to grade 12 are invited. Those in Junior College are also eligible to join. Furthermore, this baseball camp is set to run daily from 9 o’clock in the morning until 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Its venue is the state of the art Presbyterian College Baseball Complex. In addition, check-in starts at 8:30 AM on Day 1. This event is an initiative of the Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball coaching staff.

Presbyterian College Blue Hose Select Baseball Camp Organizers
The Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball team head coach is Elton Pollock. He is now in his 14th year at the helm of the Blue Hose baseball program. Coach Elton Pollock is a Presbyterian College alumnus with a degree in Sociology with a minor in Computer Science. In 2017, Coach Pollock led the team to its second Big South Conference Tournament appearance. Ultimately, he is the recipient of the 2007-08 Presbyterian College Advocate of the Year Award. He is also the15th round pick of the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1995 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft. Then, the Presbyterian Blue Hose assistant baseball coaches are Parker Bangs and Gil Walker. Coach Parker Bangs, a native of Laurinburg, North Carolina, is now in his fourth season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in experimental psychology while minoring in sociology graduate from the University of South Carolina. It is also where he earned his master’s degree in public administration. Primarily, Coach Bangs is working with pitchers. Coach Gil Walker is a new addition to the Blue Hose coaching staff. He is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in sports administration graduate from Samford University. And finally, the team’s volunteer assistant coach is Marshall McDonald. Coach McDonald is also in his first year with the coaching staff.
