The Lamar University Cardinals Baseball Showcase Day Camp will fall on the 25th of August. This baseball showcase camp is inviting all boys entering grade 9 to grade 12 who desire to play at the college level. Will Davis, a native of Baton Rouge, Lousiana, is the head coach of the Lamar University Cardinals baseball team. He is bachelor’s degree in secondary education graduate and a master’s degree in kinesiology graduate from Louisiana State University. Coach Will Davis is now in his second season at the reins of the Lamar Cardinals baseball program. Additionally, Coach Davis helped the Cardinals to an NCAA Regionals and a fourth seed in the Southland Conference Tournament finish in the 2016 season. Coach Will Davis is the former Louisiana State University director of baseball operations. Then, the Lamar Cardinals hitting coach as well as recruiting coordinator is Scott Hatten. Coach Scott Hatten, a Lamar University alumnus, is now in his 18th season with the Cardinals coaching staff. He is a native of Levittown, New York. Moreover, the Cardinals pitching coach is Sean Snedeker. Coach Sean Snedeker is the newest addition to the Cardinals coaching staff. He is both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in kinesiology graduate from Texas A&M University. Coach Snedeker is also a former Chicago White Sox pitching coach.
