The University of Mount Union Purple Raiders Baseball Prospect Camp is for all boys entering grade 9 through grade 12 who desire to become a college baseball student-athlete. This baseball prospect provides exceptional players a venue to showcase their skills. It will be on the 24th of September at the top-notch 23rd Street Field which in Alliance, Ohio. Moreover, this baseball prospect camp will start at 1:00 PM and end at 4:30 PM. It includes pitching, catching, offensive, outfield and infield skills development sessions. The camp registration fee is $60 per player. This registration fee includes a free camp t-shirt. Overall, it will be a challenging but enjoyable experience.

University of Mount Union Purple Raiders Baseball Prospect Camp Organizers
The head coach of the University of Mount Union Purple Raiders baseball team is Paul Hesse, a native of Suffield, Ohio. He is at the same time the university’s Assistant to the Athletic Director. Coach Paul Hesse is now entering his 22nd season at the helm of the Purple Raiders baseball program. He is both a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in sport administration with a collegiate focus graduate from Kent State University. Additionally, Coach Paul Hesse is a member of the Mid-East Region on the American Baseball Coaches Association Division III All-American and the Coach of the Year Committee. He is now holding an overall coaching win-loss record of 451-382-4. Coach Hesse led the Purple Raiders to a 2013 OAC Tournament Title and a 2017 OAC Regular-Season Title. Then, the Purple Raiders assistant baseball coaches are Evan Knott and Cory Douglass. Coach Evan Knott is now in his third season with the coaching staff. He is an alumnus of the University of Mount Union with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Business. Coach Knott is a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection as a Purple Raider. Meanwhile, Coach Cory Douglass who hails from Garfield Heights, Ohio, is now in his second season with the coaching staff. He is also a Mount Union alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.
