The Mississippi College Choctaws Baseball Summer Prospect Camp is set to run from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM on the 24th of July. Its venue is the state of the art Frierson Field at Dickins-Scoper Stadium which is on the Mississippi College campus. This baseball prospect camp is inviting all high school baseball players who desire to play at the college level. In addition, this summer baseball camp will include a 60-yard dash, defensive showcase, offensive station drills, and scrimmages. It is going to be under the supervision of the Mississippi College Choctaws baseball coaching staff. Furthermore, the camp registration fee is $125 per player. It will be a physically demanding but fun experience.

Jeremy Haworth is the head coach of the Mississippi College Choctaws baseball team. He is at the helm of the Choctaws baseball program since the 2015 season. Coach Jeremy Haworth is a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science graduate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Ultimately, Coach Jeremy Haworth is the 2015 Great American Conference (GAC) Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led the Oklahoma Baptist University Tigers baseball team to a GAC Tournament berth. Coach Haworth is also the 2007 Gulf South Conference (GSC) West Division Player of the Year. Then, the Mississippi College Choctaws assistant baseball coaches are Josh Perez and Grady Turman Jr. Coach Josh Perez, a native of New Iberia, Louisiana, is a Mississippi College alumnus. He is a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology graduate and a master’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology graduate. Coach Perez is the former East Coast Showcase Baseball head coach. Meanwhile, Coach Grady Turman Jr., a native of Clinton, Mississippi is a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology graduate from Mississippi College. Casey Echols is the student assistant coach and student manager is Parker Quinn. The Choctaws head athletic trainer is Matt Verret.
