Oakland University Golden Grizzlies Advanced Baseball Camp

The Oakland University Golden Grizzlies Advanced Baseball Camp is a high-level baseball training program that will run from the 16th of July until the 19th of July. This four-day event is inviting all male baseball players 12 to 13 years of age. It is going to take place at the Lutheran High School Northwest in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Furthermore, this baseball camp is set to run daily from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The program will cover hitting, infield and outfield, catching, and pitching instructions. This event is ideal for those who are serious about taking their game to the next level. In addition, the camp registration fee is $275 per player. The participants need to bring their own baseball bat, hat, helmet, gloves, and cleats. Catchers also need to bring their own catcher’s gears.

Oakland University Golden Grizzlies Advanced Baseball Camp Organizers

The head coaches of the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies are Jacke Healey and Colin Kaline. Both coaches are at the helm of the Golden Grizzlies baseball program since the 2016 season. Coach Jecke Healey is a bachelor’s degree in general studies/history graduate from Youngstown State University. Coach Healey is the former University of Pittsburgh infield coach. He is also a former baseball players standout himself. In fact, his playing career included a Rawlings Big Stick Award and a Region 20 Player of the Year award. Meanwhile, Coach Colin Kaline is a Florida Southern College graduate. He was the Detroit Tigers’ 26th round pick in the 2011 Major League Baseball (MLB) Draft. Coach Colin Kaline is also the former Florida Southern College assistant baseball coach. He is also a former part of the Gulf Coast League Tigers coaching staff. Moreover, the Oakland University Golden Grizzlies assistant baseball coach is Justin Karn. He is at the same time the team’s pitching coach. Coach Justin is the newest addition to the Golden Grizzlies coaching staff. The team’s graduate assistant coach is Trent Drumheller. And finally, Jacob Abu-Aita is the Golden Grizzlies undergraduate assistant coach.
