The Sonoma State University Seawolves Baseball Showcase Camp is a two-day event that will be held on August 25 and August 26. It is inviting all male baseball players 16 to 21 years of age who desire to play baseball at the college level. The program is going to take place at the scenic Sonoma State University campus. In addition, this baseball showcase camp will provide the attendees a feel for how it is to train and play like a college baseball student-athlete. The program will also include instructions that will refine batting, catching, pitching, infield, and outfield play, throwing and base running skills. Furthermore, the camp registration fee is $350 per player.

Leading the Sonoma State University Seawolves baseball team is Head Coach John Goelz. Coach John Goelz is now entering his 33rd year at the helm of the Seawolves baseball program. He is an alumnus of San Francisco State University. Ultimately, Coach Goelz is the 2011 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) West Region Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2008 CCAA Coach of the Year and NCAA West Region Coach of the Year awardee. Under his leadership, the Seawolves has already 13 NCAA Tournament appearances. Then, the Sonoma State University Seawolves assistant baseball coaches are Mike Nackord, Gregg Adams, Dolf Hes, Tony Ragusa, Casey Gilroy, Mike Nunes, and Tito Fuentes, Jr. Coach Mike Nackord is a Sonoma State University alumnus with a degree in Sociology. He also earned his master’s degree in Kinesiology from Sonoma State. Coach Nackord is now in his 12th season with the coaching staff. At the same time, he is the team’s pitching coach and recruiting coordinator. Similarly, Coach Gregg Adams is also a Sonoma State University graduate with a degree in Physical Education. He is now entering his 13th season with the Seawolves baseball coaching staff.
