It is an advanced baseball training program for position players in grade 9 up to junior college. This event provides an opportunity for those who are interested to become a college baseball student-athlete to showcase their exceptional baseball kills. Reggie Christiansen, a native of Ferndale, California, is the head coach of the Sacramento State University Hornets baseball team. He is now in his eighth season at the helm of the Hornets baseball program. Coach Reggie Christiansen is a bachelor’s degree in business administration graduate from Menlo College. He is also a master’s degree in health, sport and exercise science graduate from the University of Kansas. Ultimately, Coach Christiansen is a two-time Western Athletic Conference Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a two-time Major League Baseball’s Northern California scouts Div. I Coach of the Year awardee. Then, the Hornets pitching coach is Jake Angier, a native of Bellevue, Washington. Coach Angier is in his fifth season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in sports pedagogy graduate from South Dakota State University. Furthermore, the team’s assistant coach is Tim Wheeler. Coach Wheeler, a Sacramento native, is the newest addition to the Hornets baseball coaching staff. He is a Sacramento State alumnus and a former Hornet college baseball standout.
