The Augustana College Vikings Elite Summer Baseball Camp is a four-day training camp that will run from the 4th of June until the 7th of June. It is inviting all boys 8 to 14 years of age at any skill level who are looking to improve their baseball skills in a fun learning atmosphere. The camp’s daily schedule is set to start at 9 o’clock in the morning and end at 4 o’clock in the afternoon. Moreover, this baseball summer camp is going to take place at the state of the art Swanson Stadium/Brunner Field which is on the Augustana College campus. The registration fee is $190 per camper. Furthermore, running this baseball training program is the Augustana College Vikings baseball coaching staff and current players.
Augustana College, originally Augustana College and Theological Seminary, is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college in Rock Island, Illinois. Augustana College Vikings Elite Summer Baseball Camp Organizers
The head coach of the Augustana College Vikings baseball team is Greg Wallace. He is now in his 22nd year at the helm of the Vikings baseball program. Coach Greg Wallace is an Augustana College alumnus with a degree in business with concentrations in marketing and management. He is also a master’s degree in education graduate from Frostburg State University. Ultimately, Coach Greg Wallace is the 1992 Eastern States Athletic Conference (ESAC) Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led the Frostburg State University Bobcats to an Eastern States Athletic Conference Championship. Then, the Vikings pitching coach is Justin Hauer. He is a bachelor’s in kinesiology graduate from Illinois State University. He is also an associate’s degree in general education graduate from Black Hawk College. At the same time, Coach Justin Hauer is the Vikings’ recruiting coordinator. The team’s assistant baseball coaches are B.J. Eder, Jake Hirst, and Colin Gisel. Coach B.J. Eder is now in his sixth season with the coaching staff. He is the former Davenport Assumption High School head coach. John Furlong is the team’s athletic recruiting coordinator and Jeff Rose is the strength and conditioning coach. Finally, Dan Coe and David Chapman are the Augustana College student assistant coaches.
