The Bradley University Future Braves Baseball Summer Camp will allow the participants to experience a real college level training environment. It is set to run from 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM on the 5th of June. This elite baseball camp is going to take place at the state of the art Dozer Stadium, formerly known as the Chiefs Stadium. Furthermore, this single-day baseball training program is open to all and any boys who are aspiring to become a college baseball student-athlete. It includes throwing fundamental drills, primary defense fundamental drills, and hitting fundamental drills. In addition, the camp registration fee is $80 per player. This elite baseball camp will be under the direction of the Bradley University Braves baseball coaching staff.
Bradley University is a private, coeducational, and independent university in Peoria, Illinois. Its name is in honor of its founder Lydia Moss Bradley, a prominent 19th-century philanthropist. The university is offering more than 100 undergraduate programs as well as 40 graduate programs. In addition, it is among the country’s leading academic institutions. In fact, it is 6th in the Regional Universities Midwest category of the 2017 edition of the US News and World Reports Best Colleges rankings. It is also 36th in Best Value Schools rankings. Currently, the university accommodates around 4,400 undergraduate students. 49 percent of this undergraduate student population are male students and 51 percent are female students. This undergraduate student population is also through a selective enrollment acceptance rate of 70 percent. Correspondingly, Bradley University’s student to faculty ratio is 12:1. The university is also serving around 900 postgraduate students. Furthermore, the university has 13 intercollegiate men’s and women’s sports teams. They are playing in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I. They call themselves the Braves. Bradley University Future Braves Baseball Summer Camp Organizers
Elvis Dominguez, a native of Cienfuegos, Cuba, is the head coach of the Bradley University Braves baseball team. He is a bachelor’s degree in secondary education graduate from Creighton University. Coach Elvis Dominguez is now in his 15th year at the helm of the Bradley University Braves baseball program. Ultimately, Coach Elvis Dominguez has led the Braves to its first-ever NCAA Regionals appearance. He is now holding an overall coaching win-loss record of 390-463-3. Then, the team’s pitching coach is Larry Scully. Coach Larry Scully is a bachelor’s degree in English literature graduate from Western Kentucky University. He is also a master’s degree graduate from the United States Sports Academy. Coach Scully is with the Braves coaching staff since the 2015 season. He was instrumental in the Braves 2015 NCAA postseason run. The Braves assistant baseball coach is Kyle Trewyn. Coach Kyle Trewyn is now in his fourth season with the coaching staff. He is a Cardinal Stritch University graduate, where he had also an assistant coaching stint. Coach Trewyn is also the former Quincy University assistant baseball coach. And finally, the Braves baseball volunteer assistant coach is Joe Kelch. Coach Joe Kelch, a native of Peoria, Illinois, is an Illinois State University alumnus. He is the newest addition to the Bradley University baseball coaching staff. Coach Kelch is a 2015 All-Missouri Valley Conference honoree.
